Supplier onboarding
Suppliers apply, submit documents and go live only after approval, so the catalogue stays trustworthy.
Case study - United Kingdom
Medigear.uk connects suppliers of certified medical equipment with professional buyers worldwide. OASIS built the marketplace behind it: supplier onboarding, a full product catalogue, request-for-quote flows, bulk ordering and buyer accounts.
Project at a glance
The project
Medical equipment is not sold like consumer products. Buyers compare specifications, ask for quotes on bulk quantities and need certainty that a supplier and its products are legitimate. Suppliers need somewhere to list a large, detailed catalogue and respond to enquiries. An off-the-shelf store could not carry that trading model, so Medigear needed a marketplace built around it.
The platform separates the three groups that use it - buyers, suppliers and the Medigear team - and gives each exactly what they need, with approval steps where trust matters. It is the same approach we bring to any marketplace: model the trading rules first, then build the screens around them.
Plan a marketplace like thisWhat it does
Suppliers apply, submit documents and go live only after approval, so the catalogue stays trustworthy.
Large product ranges with specifications, variants, images and documents, searchable by what buyers actually look for.
Buyers request quotes on quantities, suppliers respond, and agreed prices turn into orders.
Order history, saved lists and reordering for professional buyers who purchase regularly.
One place for the Medigear team to manage suppliers, products, orders and enquiries.
A UK business selling to buyers in other countries, with the catalogue and enquiry flow to match.
