Terms & Conditions

The terms for using the OASIS website and for working with us on custom software, support and AMC projects - written in plain English.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of the website oasis.ind.in and our mobile app, and set out the general terms on which OASIS ("OASIS", "we", "us"), a software development company registered in Punjab, India, provides its services. By using this website or engaging our services you accept these terms.

Where we sign a separate proposal, quotation, statement of work or service agreement with you (a "Project Agreement"), that document takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.

1. Our services

We provide custom software development, Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platforms, CRM and lead management systems, data management and reporting systems, B2B e-commerce and marketplace portals, recruitment and relocation portals, SaaS products, API integrations, and ongoing maintenance and support.

2. Quotes and scope

Quotes are based on the scope described at the time and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Anything not listed in the scope is not included. Work that falls outside the agreed scope is quoted separately as a change request before it is started.

3. Payment

Unless the Project Agreement says otherwise, projects are invoiced in milestones, with the first instalment payable before work begins. Invoices are due within 14 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts after written notice. Prices exclude taxes, third-party licences, hosting, domain fees and payment gateway charges unless we have stated that they are included.

4. Your responsibilities

Projects depend on timely input. You agree to provide content, data, access, approvals and a named point of contact within reasonable time, and to ensure you have the right to use any material you supply to us. Delays in feedback or access move the delivery dates accordingly.

5. Acceptance and revisions

Each milestone is submitted for review against the acceptance criteria in the Project Agreement. If we do not hear from you within 10 working days, the milestone is treated as accepted. Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope are included; a change of direction after approval is a change request.

6. Intellectual property

Once a project is paid for in full, you own the source code, designs, content and data we produced specifically for you. We keep ownership of our pre-existing frameworks, libraries, tools and know-how, and grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use them as part of your system. Third-party components keep their own licences.

7. Confidentiality

Each side agrees to keep the other's non-public information confidential and to use it only for the project. This survives the end of the engagement. We may name you as a client and describe the work in general terms unless you ask us in writing not to.

8. Data protection

Where we process personal data on your behalf, we do so under a written data processing agreement, including Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where required. Our own handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Warranty and defect fixing

We warrant that the delivered system will materially perform as described in the Project Agreement. Defects reported within 30 days of go-live are fixed at no charge. This does not cover faults caused by changes made by others, third-party service failures, hosting problems outside our control, or use outside the agreed purpose.

10. Maintenance and support

Maintenance, security updates, backups, monitoring and further development after go-live are provided under an annual maintenance contract (AMC) or an agreed hourly arrangement. Without such an agreement we are not responsible for ongoing upkeep of the system.

11. Hosting and third-party services

Where a project relies on hosting, domains, payment gateways, mail services, APIs or other third-party services, those are supplied under their own terms and their availability is outside our control. Accounts for those services should be held in your name wherever possible.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Otherwise, our total liability in connection with a project is limited to the fees you have paid us for that project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data.

13. Cancellation

Either side may end a project with 14 days' written notice. You remain liable for work completed and costs committed up to that date. Deposits covering work already performed are non-refundable. On termination we hand over the work completed to that point, together with the documentation and access we hold.

14. Website and app use

The content on this website and in our app is provided for information. You may not copy, republish or resell it without permission, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, or use the site in a way that damages it or interferes with other users.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. We will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion. If that fails, the courts of Punjab, India will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the Project Agreement specifies otherwise.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes do not affect Project Agreements already signed.
